NYSERDA Transportation Programs

NYSERDA offers special incentives for transportation businesses. They help businesses reduce their energy expenses.

The following incentives are available:

• The Clean Transportation Program;
• Commercial Transportation Programs;
• Electric Charging Station Programs; and
• Charge Ready NY.

The Clean Transportation Program helps businesses develop new "green" technology for transport.

The Commercial Transportation Programs help businesses get more efficient vehicles for their fleets.

The Electric Charging Station Programs help businesses install charging stations for electric vehicles. Businesses can claim an income tax credit if they buy and set up a charging station. The credit is up to $5,000 per station. Rebates are provided for businesses that use electric vehicles.

Charge Ready NY offers a rebate of up to $4,000 per charging station for businesses that install Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations.
