The Bikes in Buildings program helps people who work in office buildings. If your building was built before November 18, 2009, and has at least one freight elevator, your employer can ask the building owner to let employees bring their bicycles inside.

Employers need to find a place or places in their office to store bikes. The storage space must follow building, fire and any other applicable codes and should not block any doors.

Please note: This program is not for residential buildings or buildings where offices are not the main use.
